30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety And Health Program
In accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health act of 1970, employers have become responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for their employees.
This training program is a comprehensive review of OSHA procedures, policies, and standards. This course will give students a strong understanding of construction safety and health principles as well as place an emphasis on the most hazardous areas using OSHA standards and regulations as a guideline. (Free study guides and handbook will be given)
Although OSHA 30 hour training was originally more appropriate for supervisors, the induction of local law 196 has made this class a popular selection for most construction workers. Students will learn to locate and identify OSHA standards in 29 CFR, identify causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas within the worksite while providing abatement technique suggestions for these hazards, and learn to understand most construction processes, materials, and equipment.
Upon completion, students will receive a temporary certificate which will be valid for 90 days. will order the Rutgers certified OSHA 30 card which will arrive at our office in approx. 2 – 8 weeks. CST will contact each student when the card is ready for pick up.

10 Hour OSHA Construction Safety And Health Program
The 10 Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Program is intended to provide entry level construction workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a construction site. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a construction site. Training emphasizes on hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention.
This course is intended to increase workplace safety awareness and compliance, and reduce a company’s risk of fines and penalties resulting from OSHA violations. Attendees will discuss and review how to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace as well as OSHA General Industry Standards specific to their industry. This course is based on the requirements contained within the OSHA Code of Federal Regulations for General Industry.
